Welcome!

So as the first post on the Weavers and Dreamers blog feed I'd like to say a few words.

First, Weavers and Dreamers is a work in progress, so I apologize in advance for any problems with the site. Also, I have not yet created Google+, Facebook, or Twitter accounts for Weavers and Dreamers, but it is my top priority. I will keep you 'posted' :)

Second, I'd like to explain how the name Weavers and Dreamers came about. I was thinking one day, wouldn't it be cool if there was this weaver at a loom and her tapestry was actually the starry night sky, with numerous threads intertwining to create a universe? I thought, jeez, that sounds like a writer to me, so that's where the first half came from. And Dreamers, well dreamers think up good ideas, don't they? they might not aways be able to put them into pictures or words, but they still created a good idea. So that's it, Weavers and Dreamers, people that create internally and externally.

Also, if you're a Wheel of Time fan, then there's a reference to the story too :)

So Weavers and Dreamers will serve as a place for updates on my own writing. For a better part of 5 years I've been working hard at writing fantasy stories--long and short-- and I have an undying love for that art form. Recently, I finished writing a fantasy novel, and am seeking representation, so in the future, you'll see some updates on that too!
