Flamboyance in Archery

A few months ago I saw a video of archery genius Lars Anderson doing his thing. It got me thinking about the potentials of archery, and analyzing fantasy archery as a whole.
Perhaps the most notable of fantasy archers is Legolas from Lord of the Rings, but watching his archery and the level of flamboyance in his shots makes me think about real speed-shooting.
Now, at the point when I saw Lars' video, I was working on developing a new story idea about a hunter who spent most of his time in the forests, perfecting his woodman's craft and his shooting skills.
I was able to incorporate aspects of real speed-shooting archery into my titular character's skill list and that development really got the momentum going on this project, which is about halfway finished. With the rough draft, mind you.
So thank you Lars Anderson for your perseverance to your archery, and for sparking an idea in my head.
Keep an eye out for more posts involving this writing project by the way. It has the working title, 'The Tale of Llwynog Dyyn.'
Goodbye for now, and keep writing!
